Review of the movie Snatch

Snatch.. the movie that is in a class of its own. Directed and written by Guy Ritchie, it is his finest creative effort.
It has a great combination of comedy and action, and its powerful dialogues like," Never underestimate the predictability of stupidity!" by Bullet Tooth Tony, steal the show.
The cast is wonderful. Brad Pitt as Mickey O'Neil, has played a piker, and he means business. Bullet Tooth Tony played by Vinnie jones has given a powerful performance. Boris 'The Blade' Yurinov, played by Rade Serbedgia, is both funny and dangerous. Alan Ford as the cold blooded 'Brick Top'and Jason Statham as 'Turkish' have delivered a fine performance.
Turkish is a young man with an entrepreneurial bent, who runs a gambling operation and also manages bare knuckle boxers. Through a business deal gone wrong, he loses all his boxers and finally requests Mickey O'Neil, a motor-mouthed piker who also happens to be a one-punch marvel, to fight for him. But Mickey has his own agenda, and gets Turkish in trouble with the gangsters who run the underground boxing circuit( primarily runs into trouble with Brick Top), who has a penchant for chopping people up and feeding them to the pigs. Other characters that become involved in the drama include a four-fingered degenerate gambler/jewel thief,a bunch of inept robbers, a well dressed hitman, a crazed Russian gunner who happens to be ex-KGB, a group of Irish gypsies, a crooked New York jeweler and a pugnacious pet. The common thread binding them all is a valuable diamond. The story progresses at break neck pace and is a treat to watch.
